The client had water entering the finished basement through an exterior block wall.
A French drain was installed. This involves removing soil away from house all the way to the footing (approximately 10’), clean wall and paint with waterproofing, lay pipe and well for pump, backfill with washed stone to the surface, install pump (gravity draining is preferable, but was not feasible in this circumstance), and installing decorative stone. This area was where the A/C condensing units sat, so they were first removed and then replaced once work was complete.
